Thinking Bee Launches New Family-friendly Web-series (Thinking Bee Productions)

Nashville-based Thinking Bee Productions has joined forces with family band Martin Family Circus and artist manager Marc Dottore to produce and distribute a web series about the day to day experiences of the group – the challenges of being on the road and in the studio, raising four children and teaching them the basics of becoming musicians, entertainers and performers.
The Martins are a talented family with an incredible legacy. Dad, musician extraordinaire Paul Martin, was a former lead singer of hit making country group Exile, and is now a vocalist and bass player for Marty Stuart and the Fabulous Superlatives. Mom, Jamie Allen Martin, is the daughter of Duane Allen, the lead singer of the Oak Ridge Boys, and Norah Lee Allen, a longtime member of the legendary Carol Lee Singers, the in-house back-up singers for the Grand Ole Opry. Paul and Jamie have four children, March (14), Kell (11), Texas (6) and Tallant (5) – together they are the Martin Family Circus.

Thinking Bee President and Director Bill Filipiak said, "I've believed for the past 5-10 years that the convergence of Web and television would lead to more programming launching on the internet as opposed to traditional broadcast mediums. It's exciting to be a part of where the future of programming is headed and to share such a cool story with the world. We built Thinking Bee on the premise that there is an audience for family friendly programming of an encouraging nature and believe "Martin Family Circus" is just such a program. We're beyond proud to be working with the Martins, their management team and to be in a position to help share their story."

Introduced to the Martins by manager Marc Dottore, the Thinking Bee team was immediately knocked out with their talent, energy and genuine love of performing. Producer Jo Hunt adds, “Besides their great stage presence, one of the key things we loved about the family was that, for them, it's not about being famous. Music is their craft; it's what they learned as kids and a tool they use to now teach their own kids. It's less about the fame and more about the family.”

Episode three of the series goes online this week. You can keep up with the full series at this link.

Are they SURE they want a camera in their faces all day long, every day ??

I remember seeing photos of Jamie and Dee (when Jamie was in her teens) that someone next to us -- at the Tennessee Homecoming celebration Oaks concert at Sumner County Fairgrounds --- had taken of them at Duane's antique car place.....at that time, Jamie looked like Duane (she was really cute ! ).......... seeing her in this video -- she looks more like Norah Lee now, and yet there is a slight difference between Norah Lee's and Jamie's features......but, she has her mother's beauty.
