Christmas Tour 2009
The 2009 edition of the Boys Are Back For Christmas Tour is underway. The first shows were in Branson, but the tour will soon hit the road. Check the online schedule for specific dates and places. For a few photos from the first shows, take a look at the online gallery here....
Veterans Day 2009, Branson, MO
The Oak Ridge Boys helped pay tribute to the more than 50,000 veterans that descended upon Branson for the annual, multi-day Veterans Day festivities. Nowhere are veterans celebrated and honored more than Branson. The Boys sang the National Anthem to open the 234th Marine Corps Birthday Ball at the Branson Civic Center. The Oak Ridge Boys Are Back For Christmas
The Oak Ridge Boys will be back for Christmas this year. Their 20th Annual Christmas tour, The Boys Are Back for Christmas, will take the group to 14 states in 34 days, beginning early November and running through December 22.
Bonsall Presented With Plaque At Rally
Onstage Friday night at the First Annual Oak Ridge Boys Rally at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Joe Bonsall received a surprise presentation from the other three Oaks. The plaque honored Joe for one million YouTube views of the music video for his song, G.I. Joe & Lillie.
The Rally continues Saturday with special events and activities for those in attendance from across the U.S. and Canada. Tickets for next year's Rally will go on sale Monday, October 26.

It’s one thing for the video of a current hit to rack up views on the web by the thousands. But it’s particularly impressive when a song that was never intended for the commercial mainstream lands more than a million hits. That’s exactly what’s happened to a live Oak Ridge Boys video that apparently struck a chord with military families around the globe.
